Our DJs:

Music is one of the most important aspects of a school formal and that's why we only provide professional, experienced, reliable and entertaining DJ’s. All our DJ’s love what they do and are down to earth. We start by supplying you wiht an online request form pre event, then from this and our music library they simply play the music that everyone wants to dance to, ensuring everyone has a great night out.

Photobooth:

No formal is complete without a Photobooth! We have an awesome photo booth uniquely designed for school formals. Our booth is the complete solution including upload stations, custom photo strip templates and a wide range of props and backdrop. Talk to us about incorporating our Photobooth into your formal package.

 

Photography:

Backdrop Photography is one of the most important aspects of the school formal. Our photographer, Chris Sexton has a keen eye for detail and shot many formals over the last few years, some of his previous work can be found here. We offer a 7 day maximum turnaround on all images, secure online portal for photo downloads, the option of having 2 photographers, live slideshows to our 60" screens as well as many different backdrop designs. Chris is also able to take roaming photos throughout the venue, ensuring the whole event is captured.

 

Lighting:

Sound and Lighting goes hand in hand when it comes to an event, as it sets the mood and atmosphere. We have one of the widest ranges of lighting equipment in Christchurch at our disposal. Our lighting equipment ranges from LED Parcans to Moving Heads, which coupled with our complimentary lighting design service will help even the most conservative of guests to hit the dance floor.

 

Sound:

We pride ourselves in the quality of sound reproduction for the audience’s enjoyment, as well as the ability to ‘pump the bass’ when necessary. With equipment brands such as ElectroVoice, 

dbTechnologies, Pioneer and Yamaha we can deliver you an exceptional sound experience, for a band or DJ. 

 

Theming and Theme Lighting:

The formal revolves around a theme, and we believe that effective lighting can both enhance your chosen theme to give your formal the extra ‘wow’ factor. Our skilled lighting team work with your committee to create a lighting solution using the wide range of projectable gobos (patterns), LED up-lights, scenic elements plus much more of the equipment that we have in our inventory.

 

Late last year we also acquired Whirl Productions, and Lee from Whirl brings over 25 years of School Ball Theming experience to our team. Through this we are now able to supply centre pieces, cameo area, themed entranceways and much much more!

 

Audio/Visual: 

The new frontier in events. With the use of our Projection Mapping and LED Screens your venue can becomes a canvas where we can display Custom Themed Video Content, giving your formal a true point of difference.
